JAMMU, Oct 22: J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board orgainsed a district level awareness camp under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) at Bishnah to aware general public about the schemes of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board with special focus and benefits under PMEGP scheme.
The programme was presided over by Ashwani Sharma, MLA Bishnah. The MLA impressed upon the artisans to take the benefits of the schemes of KVIB and establish their unit to create employment for themselves and generate employment to other co workers.
During the programme, Pawan Kumar, Executive Officer, J&K KVIB highlighted the sailent feature of the PMEGP and other schemes available with KVIB.
The programme was attended by Sarpanchs, Panchs of block Bishnah, prominent citizens, artisans, un-employed youth, representatives of KVIC and other Government departments besides large number of people.
