UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: A young man died after he fell down a deep gorge while cutting grass in mountainous area of Pancheri, here today.
The deceased has been identified as Sher Singh (35), son of Bau Nath of village Danota in Pancheri block of district Udhampur. He was cutting grass for fodder to domestic animals when the mishap took place. He accidentally slipped into gorge and reportedly died on the spot.
On getting information, Police shifted the body to PHC Danota and registered a case under Section 174 for further investigations.
