DPS organises Hindi debate

JAMMU, Oct 28:  In line with its ongoing CBSE initiated ‘Swachh Bharat, Swachh Vidyalaya’ campaign,  Delhi Public School Jammu organized Inter- House Hindi Debate competition for classes IX- XII in its premises.
The motion of the debate was ‘Manushya Prakriti ka Bhakshak’. Through their sharp oratory skills, the debaters keenly presented their views on destruction and conservation of environment in light of unabated commercial development. There were two participants from each of the 5 houses, speaking both for and against the motion with the time limit of 3 minutes.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress Ruchi Chabra, DPS Jammu reminded the children about their duty towards environment and exhorted them to take up the roles of ‘Green Soldiers’. Addl Director/Principal Dr  D Joseph, DPS Jammu lauded the efforts of the participant sand faculty and honored the winners with certificates.
The first position was bagged by Yamuna House, while the second and third were clinched by Jhelum & Ganga respectively.
