RAJOURI, Oct 31: An employee of Health Department posted in District Hospital Rajouri was placed under suspension by the District Election authorities for taking part in political activities.
An official spokesman said that action was taken by the District Election Officer, Rajouri against Farooq Mirza, posted as storekeeper in the District Hospital for participating in the rally of NC leader Rashpal Singh. He was taking part actively in the political activities for the last several days. On the basis of these complaints, an inquiry was initiated against the Government employees and the District Election authorities placed him under suspension. A senior officer when contacted confirmed the action against the Government employee.
