JAMMU, Oct 31: On the 2nd day of the ongoing Inter-School Indoor Cricket Tournament sponsored by KC Sports Club, the match between Army Public School Damana and St. Xavier’s School Barnai turned out to be a cliff hanger.
The match was played inside the indoor Cricket Hall of KC Sports Club.
Batting first, St Xavier’s School scored 42 runs in the stipulated 16 overs.
Despite having a modest total at hand, they gave a fierce fight to their opponents who finally managed to reach their target after a bit of struggle.
At the end of the match, Rodney Jones, Coach and Assessor of the Cricket Board of England and Wales, gave away winnera and runners-up trophies to the participating schools.
