JAMMU, Nov 2: Bharat Scouts & Guides organized 3-days Pravesh, Pratham & Tritya Sopan, Scouts & Guides Camp at Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi, here.
Students from various classes attended this Camp.
The camp started with the welcome address of the Scouts & Guides trainers by Shakuntla Joshi, Principal Lawrence Public School.
She while welcoming highlighted the importance of Scouts & Guides as part of Non-Formal education.
The students participated in lots of fun filled learning activities during this training camp. They were trained about the history of the scouting moment and law promises, knowledge of patrol signaling first aid, health rules tying of knots, pitching of tents, mapping, pioneering & sign language.
The training camp was conducted under the guidance of R P Kotwal (L.T scouts), K L Sharma (HWB scouts), Manjeet Kour (Guide Captain), Kanchan Sharma (Guide Captain) Mrs Karuna and Jyoti (Guides captain).
Later, the students were blessed by I D Soni, State Commissioner & Wg Cdr M M Joshi, Zonal Commissioner.
