JAMMU, Nov 2: Samprati organized a programme at K L Seigal Hall here today. The programme was conducted in two parts. In the first part rich tributes were paid to Amin Kamil. This part of programme was conducted by Dr R L Bhat, with Dr. R L Shant and B L Saraf on the dias. Speaking on the occasion Dr. R L Bhat president Samprati praised the work of Amin Kamil in the field of literature. He quoted Kamil as a person responsible for devising Nastaaliik the Persio-Arabic Urdu script for Kashmiri language besides being a wonder poet writer novelist and a perfectionist. Dr. Bhat, while speaking of his contribution also recalled his controvertial stands on Arnimal which were duly criticized.
B L Saraf remembered Amin Kamil as a wonderful person educationist from his Shopian area and remembered his contribution in the field of literature along with his great contemporaries Akhter Mohi-ud-Din, M Y Taing and D N Nadim. Dr. RL Shant paid rich tributes to Amin Kamil and remembered his contribution during progressive movement on literary front.
After this first session a multilingual Mushiara was organized presided by P N Shad and conducted by Dr.Roshan Saraf. In this Mushiara a galaxy of poets recited their Kalams including P N Shad , Roshan Saraf, Dr.R L Bhat, S N Sanam, Raj Kumari, A K Gowhar , Kundan Paaras, Sehar Ganderbali,K L Ticku, M L Masroof, A K Naz, R Aagosh, B N Betab, Maharaj K Maharaj,Tej Sagar, B L Arpan, Vijay Wali, B N Abilash, Rattan L Rattan, A K Zadu, Bimla Aima, Kusum Dhar, Sujata K Sadhana and T N Vishwas. A number of eminent luminaries in the field of art and literature attended including Gokul K Dembi, Rajinder Koul, Pran Pandit M L Raina , K L Pardesi, Rinku Koul,and Sachin Dhar. Kundan Paaras Secretary Samprati proposed vote of thanks.
