Congress launches campaign in Bishnah

JAMMU, Nov 3: A sustained political awareness campaign has been launched by the Congress Party in the Bishnah constituency under the dynamic leadership of Gulchain Singh Charak.
In this contest a series of public meetings were organized in different villages of the constituency exploring possibilities of immediate redressal of public grievances with regard to un-employment, providing better medical and educational facilities, mitigating the problems of farmers regarding irrigation facilities, un-interrupted electric and drinking water, besides rehabilitation of the border people who have suffered during the recent floods and indiscriminate firing by the Pakistan.
During public meeting at Arnia, Charak declared that if Congress Party is voted to power, efforts will be made to arrange special recruitment drive for the youth of Bishnah constituency in different belt forces. He said efforts will also be initiated to establish a separate Degree College and ITI at Arnia besides better sports facilities for the youth.
At Village Changiya, a large number of Sarpanchs and Panchs of the areas pledged their vote and support to the Congress Party and highlighted a number of problems being faced by the people in this part of border belt.
In another public meeting organized at Chak Keshav, Charak assured the public that if he is elected, efforts will be made to streamline the functioning of municipalities at Arnia and Bishnah besides ensuring that lanes and by-lanes of the villages and towns of this belt are neat and clean.
