JAMMU, Nov 4: The J&K State Adolescence Education Cell, Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education conducted State Level Role Play Competition on Adolescence Education Programme at GHSS (B), Gandhi Nagar, here today. 10 teams from ten DIET’s of Jammu division participated in the programme. Prof Nutan Kumar Resutra, Chairman, J&K State BOSE was the chief guest on the occasion. He thoroughly inspired the participants with his matured perceptions and thought provoking speech on adolescence education. Prof Veena Pandita, Secretary J&K BOSE who was the guest of honour on the occasion delivered insightful speech with her visionary ideas and thoughts. The themes included Process of Growing Up, Charms and Challenges of Adolescence, Healthy Relationship among Adolescence, HIV/AIDS Stigmatization and Cause and Impact of Drug Abuse. Dr Sarbjeet Kour, Dr Shivali Gupta, and Dr Pawan Khajuria were the adjudicators of the competition. The teams from District Jammu, District Reasi and District Poonch were declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Earlier, Dr Yasir Hamid Sirwal, Project Officer-JD presented welcome address, while Tahira Parveen, Principal GHSS (B), Gandhi Nagar also spoke on the occasion. Sureshta Dogra, Deputy Director Academics presented vote of thanks.
