BD enrolls 35 youth

JAMMU, Nov 5: Thirty five youth were today enrolled as the activists of Bajrang Dal (BD) at a function held at Shakti Ashram Rehari here.
The function was chaired by BD convener Rakesh Sharma. Addressing the function Rakesh Sharma said BD is working for service of people and the security of country.
He said the BD was formed to serve the Sadhus and for security of Ashrams and temples. Besides, it is working for preservation of cultural heritage of country, fighting against the infiltrators and terrorists.
Sharma said in 1984 when the UP Government failed to provide security to Sahdus and Sants who were engaged in Kar seva at Ram Mandir, Ayodhya the BD came into being on the instance of Sadhus and Sants. Presently BD activists are working on State, provincial and district level.
On the occasion Palu Ram, Suresh Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Inder Singh and other youth took a solemn pledge to construct Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
