JAMMU, Nov 5: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has strongly criticized the National Conference and PDP for advocating the withdrawal of AFSPA.
In a statement, Sunil Dimple, president, JWAM, said it is shameful that PDP and NC have made it ‘Triump Card’ in the election campaign and complicating the law and order situation in the Kashmir valley.
Dimple said let it be clear to NC and PDP that we will not allow the withdrawal of AFSPA from the State unless the normalcy is completely restored in the State.
He said that tweets of Omar Abdullah on Army firing in Budgam and his uncle Dr Mustafa Kamaal’s statement that Army is the killer of the Kashmiries have vitiated the election atmosphere in the Valley.
Dimple said it was Army and paramilitary forces which saved the people of the Valley and the State from the recent flood fury.
Alleging that NC and PDP are the mouth organs of the Pakistan and the separatists forces, Dimple appealed PM not to pay heed to their demand of repeal of AFSPA.
