JAMMU/UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jammu and Udhampur celebrated Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts & Guides in their respective Schools with pomp and show, today
The meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was conducted under the Chairmanship of Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and Chairman, VMC of the Vidyalaya.
The guests were given reception by the Scouts & Guides of the Vidyalaya with welcome yells on the arrival of the Chairman and other members of the Vidyalaya Management Committee.
Among the members who attended the meeting were Dr S H Keen; Medical Superintendent, Govt Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu; Jeet Ram Kalsi, AGM, BSNL, Jammu; Dr. Biyas Dev, GMC, Jammu; Prof. Renu Nanda, Deptt. of Education, University of Jammu; Suman Gupta, Renowned Person in the Field of Art & Culture and Sudha Gupta, PGT (Maths), KV No.1, Jammu
Earlier, T R Choudhary, Principal of the Vidyalaya presented welcome address.
The meeting ended with Vote of Thanks by S. T R Choudhary, Principal of the Vidyalaya.
The Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides was celebrated with pomp and show in the premises of KV-2 Jammu Cantt, today.
Reeta Bhaskar, senior most teacher of the Vidyalaya was the chief guest on the occasion, who was accompanied by Raj Kumari (HM) and Chander Rekha, senior teacher. The Scouts and Guides presented variety of programmes on the occasion.
Bharat Scout & Guide Foundation Day was celebrated at KV No-1 Udhampur today. Principal Dr R Prasad was the chief guest on the occasion. BulBuls of Primary Section welcomed the chief guest by singing “Tihu-Tihu”, while Sanjay Kohli welcomed him presenting him the Bharat Scout and Guide scarf.
Later-on, Sanjay Kohli presented vote of thanks. Virji Kaul was also present on the occasion.
Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides was celebrated at K V Miran Sahib with great enthusiasm. School Principal, Sushma Jain was the chief guest on the occasion.
More than 100 scouts and guides participated in the programme.
Mrs Jain was presented with the ‘Bharat Scouts and Guides Flag Sticker’ by the Scouts and Guides, Sanjay Nagar (Divisional Training Commissioner), Rattan Lal, Omkar, Sandhur, Munish Kumar, Naresh, Jyoti Jamwal, K K Gupta, Suman Goel were also present on the occasion.
