JAMMU, Nov 9: Nagrota police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past over four years.
A police spokesman said that, police team from Nagrota police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large for the past four years and 8 months.
The accused has been identified as Sarwar Khan, son of Sikander Khan of Dhanu, district Udhampur.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Nagrota police station under FIR number 79/2004 under Section 279, 337 and 338 RPC. He was also declared absconder by the Court.
Further investigation into the case is on.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota police station Vinod Kumar Kundal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Khaliq Choudhary.
