Jammu, Nov 9: Prakash Utsav of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated by Sikh Sangat at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu, with great devotion and gaiety.
Large number of Sikh Sangat and local people of other communities participated in the programme, organised by Parbandhak Committee of Gurudwara Singh Sabha, with cooperation of local Sangat. Raagi Jathas of Bh.Parvinder Singh, Bh.Surjit Singh and Bh.Harpreet Singh recited Gurbani shabads and young preachers of DGPC Jammu, Bh.Narinder Singh and Bh.Gurmit Singh dwelt upon the contribution and teachers of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Manmohan Choudhary, ex-Mayor Jammu and BJP leader stressed for adopting the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood among different sections of society which is mandatory for peace and development of the State. He lauded the efforts of Sikh community in providing all sort of relief and help to needy and victims of recent flash floods in Kashmir.
