Banyan International wins All India Award

JAMMU, Nov 10: On the heels of winning the All-India Aadarsh School Award for its participation in the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtrabhasha Pariksha, Banyan International School has now also won the Hindi Rashtra Bhasha Vikas Puraskar, along with the Ideal Principal and Hindi Teacher Awards.
The Award is being felicitated by the Rashtriya Bhasha Vikas Parishad, an independent organization based in Pune.
With arround 100 Schools participating in the nationwide composition-writing competition for classes 2 through 10, five students of the School won top honours in their categories. Shreya (Class 2), Pavneet (Class 10), Ankita (Class 9), Paras (Class 7) and Saloni (Class 5) were awarded Aadarsh Vidyarthi Puraskars.
The Principal, Shounak Lahiri, once again won the Aadarsh Pradhanacharya Puraskar and the Hindi Coordinator for the School, Pratibha Singh won the Aadarsh Adhyaapika Puraskar.
Speaking on the school’s stellar performance in yet another national contest, Mr. Lahiri emphasised felt satisfaction in the students and teachers who were making a mark for themselves and the school at a national level.
