JAMMU, Nov 10: Hindustan Janata Party (All India) decided to contest in 70 Assembly seats and appealed to youth particularly those who could lend their hand to it in forming a corruption-free new Government in the State.
Addressing a press conference here today, Party’s Election Incharge J&K, Prince Ahmed Sheikh said Hindustan Janata Party was formed with the vision of providing neat and clean politics in the State.
“If Hindustan Janata Party came in power our main goal is to give Chief Minister from Jammu region,” he said.
The main and mission of the party is to eradicate all corrupt people from the Government departments for smooth running of corruption free administration, he added.
“Our motives are to make necessary amendments in the Article 370, to develop more tourism spots in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, to resolve issues of VDC members, SPOs, Home Gaurds and daily wagers in different departments, to curb crime and maintain law and order in the State and to adopt one single flag of India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari” he mentioned.
Later, Sheikh announced the list of 16 candidates contesting in Jammu and Kashmir State.
Rajiv Mahajan will be contesting from Jammu East Assembly Constituency, Aman Gupta-Jammu West, Jagdish Kumar-Gandhi Nagar, Kamal Kishore-Vijaypur, Sikander Lal-Chhamb, Suraj Narayan-Kathua, Kanchan Sharma-Bishnah, Santosh Devi-Reasi, Dharam Paul-Udhampur, Shabir Ahmed Chopan-Mahore, Gagan Singh-Nagrota, Dhani Ram-Budhal, Mohammad Sikander Wani-Dooru, Prince Ahmed Sheikh-Kukarnag, Zamrooda Bano-Homeshalibubh while Wali Mohammad Wani will contesting from Kareeri Sangrama.
