JAMMU, Nov 11: While continuing the election campaign, a meeting of National Conference workers was held at village Makhial in Jaswan Panchayat of tehsil Marh.
A large number of people participated in the meeting, which was addressed by Ajay K Sadhotra, Minister for Planning and Development, Labour and Employment.
In his address, Mr Sadhotra said that the National Conference is a party with a mission committed for the overall development of J&K State and fight for the cause and concern of all sections of the society. He appealed people to be firm and determined while casting their vote in favour of National Conference and elect him as their representative from Marh constituency in the J&K Assembly elections.
During the last six years, the people of this constituency had to suffer from a bad experience as the person elected by them as MLA was least bothered about their welfare, Mr Sadhotra said. It is for the people to judge and decide who has the capacity and capability to get their works done and I am sure that National Conference tops in this list, he added.
On the occasion, a number of persons joined the National Conference party.
Mr Sadhotra welcomed all those who joined the National Conference on this occasion and expressed the hope that it would further strengthen the party in the Marh Assembly constituency.
