JAMMU, Nov 11: Promising opening batsman Shubham Khajuria hit fastest century in Cooch Behar Under-19 boys cricket trophy against Maharashtra, today.
Shubham hit the century in off 70 balls, while the previous record was in 76 balls.
Shubham scored 160 runs in 111 balls with 8 fours and 13 sixes in the second innings against Maharashtra and helped J&K to manage a draw.
Shubham has the honour of playing 55 matches with 86 innings having scored 3456 runs with highest score of 214 runs, averaging 44. He has scored 13 fifties and 11 centuries.
