JAMMU, Nov 11: In the league matches of ongoing North Zone Inter-University Handball (M&W) Championship 2014-15 conducted by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu are in full swing at University Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, in women’s section, Punjab University, Chandigarh lost to LPU Phagwara by (31-24), Punjab University Patiala defeated Delhi University Sports Council by (33-24), while inmen’s section, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra lost to Panjab University Chandigarh by (40-31) and Punjabi University Patiala lost to University of Jammu by (24-22).
The matches were officiated by Dev Raj, Anoop Singh, Karamveer Singh, Kartar Dogra, Koushal Dixit, Vikas Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Karun Majotra, Iqbal Singh, Kapil Sagotra, Roshni Sharma, Bhanu Priya, Priya Charak, Prabhleen Kour, Ashish Dogra and Pooja Sharma.
All the matches are being played under the supervision of Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
