JAMMU : Pakistan yet again violated the truce by firing small arms in forward areas along the international border in this winter capital of the state. “Two bursts were fired from across the border late last night at around 0115 hrs in Nikki Tawi area,” official sources here today said.
They said panic gripped the area and people came out of their houses after hearing the powerful sound. “The rounds were fired at the forward posts of BSF, which are close to Nikki Tawi area,” they added. “The guns fall silent thereafter,” they said adding that no injury or damage was reported in the firing. Nikki Tawi area is located under the jurisdiction of Police Station Satwari, and is close to the vicinity of Jammu City.
