JAMMU, Nov 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Body Lifting team brought laurels to the State by winning runners-up trophy in the North India Senior Body Lifting Championship at Tara Fitness Centre, Hardyal Road, Jallandhar, recently.
Sandeep Kumar and Jagroop Singh won silver medals, while ZAahoor Ahmed, Rahul Kohli, Sumit Chip and Puran Singh clinched bronze medals in their respective weight categories.
Rakesh Kumar and Nimesh Srivastava accompanied the team as coach and manager respectively.
President of the Association, Showket Hussain and general secretary Amit Dutta lauded the efforts of the players for this achievement.
