JAMMU, Nov 12: Ritvik Gupta outplayed Anuj Gupta to advance in junior boys event of the ongoing 36th Stag J&K Table Tennis Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
Ritvik got better of Anuj by (11-8, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9), while in other matches of junior boys category, Sunpreet defeated Sudikshan by (11-7, 11-8, 11-8), Manandeep drubbed Amber by (11-7, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9) and Divyam Pandoh prevailed over Faisal Mir by (11-4, 11-3, 11-6).
In youth boys, Jayesh Singh beat Sudhanshu by (11-5, 11-7, 11-9), Aranav defeated AnIrudh Bhargav (11-5, 11-8, 11-6), Adhiraj trounced Anuj Gupta (11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7), Sunpreet beat Gagandeep (11-8, 11-8, 12-10), Mnandeep defeated Amber (11-7, 11-8, 8-11, 11-7), Divyam got better of Ashank (11-5, 11-7, 11-8), Kean prevailed over Asad (11-5, 4-11, 11-9, 16-14) and Ritvik Gupta beat Hanumant (11-8, 11-9, 11-7).
In men’s singles, Vishal outplayed Kanav Mahajan (11-3, 11-8, 11-5), Sudhanshu trounced Gagandeep (11-4, 11-8, 11-7) and Gurvinder beat Ishan (11-7, 11-8, 11-9).
