JAMMU, Nov 12: The dead body of a person was found this morning from Jewel area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Nowabad.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of a 34 years old man identified as Amar (Pappu) son of Sabir Khan, a resident of H No- 95, Durga Park, Ramnupur, Padhara in Delhi, was found this afternoon lying along the road near St Peter School in Jewel area of this winter capital of the State.
On getting information from some passersby, a police party from Nowabad police station reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at Nowabad police station and investigation started to ascertain the cause behind the death.
