JAMMU, Nov 18: National Conference (NC) today released election agenda for the people of Samba Assembly constituency.
A leaflet giving details of 26 points agenda was released before the media today by senior vice president of NC Rattan Lal Gupta in the presence of NC candidate from Samba Assembly constituency Satwant Kaur Dogra, district president Mohinder Gupta, Sarpanch Suraj Parkash Verma, district vice president Anil Singh Sambyal and hundreds of party workers.
While speaking, Dogra said that party will release its manifesto for the entire State but the conditions vary from constituency to constituency and this tempted her for a separate agenda that can fulfill the aspirations of the local people.
She said after completion of one year a review of the performance will be made to assess the achievement and added that her agenda is a public declaration of her intent which reflects the aspiration of the people of Samba Assembly constituency specially those of youth.
The 26 point agenda is to connect each village with road, construction of Sumb Dhabi Road, Sarna and Mansar Roads, Construction of Kupri Bridge, Circular Road, Construction of Purmandal- Sagon-Mansar Road through Gurgani, Deon, Fatyali, Talhat, Paddar and Bral, construction of Nand-Jeerh bridge, conversion of Forts of Samba, Bhupnergarh, Dergarh and Morgarh as Tourist Points, inclusion of Mandis and Chack Manga Rakwal in Municipal limits, 7 new tube wells to overcome shortage of water, irrigation tube wells, 5 marla plots and reservation on the lines of LAC for border people, construction of auditorium and modern vegetable market in Samba, support to genuine demands of Government employees including teachers, casual workers and those working in private sector including SIDCO, eradication of corruption and commission system.
