KARGIL (Ladakh), Nov 20: BJP Senior leader and Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today addressed a massive public rally at Public Park here,
He was welcomed by BJP district president Haji Gh Mohd Khuddam, Munshi Aziz Bhat contesting Candidate and activists of BJP Yova Morcha Kargil.
While addressing the public Mr. Naqvi said that the burning issues of Kargil like Zojilla Tunnel, air connectivity and solving the un employment issue will be paid full attention and will form the part of Party’s poll plank.
Later he addressed another poll meeting at Sankhoo, Zanaskar. During these poll rallies Mr Naqvi said development was the main poll plank of BJP at Centre and State. He said that Ladakh has been deprived in developmental sphere over the years and people of the region have been deprived of the basic facilities of life like roads, power, water, hospitals and schools.
He said if BJP is voted to power in the State and its Legislators elected from this region it will ensure total development of the Ladakh region. Besides, all efforts will be made to promote tourism in the area, he added.
He said people of Ladaakh region should have direct contact with Prime Minister Narendera Modi and this is only possible when you cast their vote in favour of Party candidates. He appealed the people to elect both candidates of Party from Kargil and Zanaskar constituencies.
He while highlighting five month performance of Modi Government at Centre said that prices have been brought totally under control and many developmental schemes were undertaken in the country. The image of India improved during the Modi rule at international level, he added.
In a response to a question regarding controversial statements on Article 370, BJP Leader Subramanian Swamy and Heena Shafi Bhat Party candidate from Amirakadal Srinagar, he said that this is a political issues during election camping only.
