Marh to be developed on modern lines: Balwan

JAMMU, Nov 20: Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Marh constituency Balwan Singh, has maintained that it is his endeavour to develop Marh on modern lines and a model constituency in the State.
Addressing public meeting at village Rathoa of Marh Segment today, Balwan said that Marh remained neglected, resulting in its suffering from underdevelopment.
He mentioned that the farmers are still deprived of adequate compensation for the huge loss they suffered in recent flash floods.  “The government functionaries neglected farmers of the area and still they are waiting for compensation”, Mr Singh said.
He also listened to the issues and concern of the general masses. The people highlighted various grievances being faced by them and demanded potable drinking water, electricity supply, road connectivity.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwan assured the villagers that their concerns would be taken into consideration and resolved while appealing them to vote for him so that underdeveloped areas could be developed.
Prominent Congress leaders who spoke on the occasion include Lala Devi Dass, Ashwani Sharma block president, Bishan Dutt ex- Sarpanch, Jagdish Raj Sarpanch, Rattan Lal Sharma and  Dr Bansi Lal.
