JAMMU, Nov 21: The dead body of an unidentified man was today recovered from Bus Stand area of Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, in unconscious condition a man appearing to be a beggar was spotted by some passersby near MLA Hostel falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bus Stand.
He said that they shifted the body Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bus Stand police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174CrPc.
