A Ceremonial Salute of Honour is due to the brave Mirpuris who laid down their lives for the sake of mother-land on 25th November, 1947 while fighting with the Pakistani raiders. To pay a glowing tribute to those unforgotten and immortal sons and daughters of the soil, C.P.Gupta recollects the terrible eye witnessed events when the marauders had unlaced their dress of savagery to see and enjoy the naked dance of Death at Mirpur in which 18,000 citizens of Mirpur were killed in 24 hours in most inhuman blooded way in the midst of heart-rending scene of serious and half dread wounded people who were crying and battling for life in the whirl-pools of their own blood.
