JAMMU, Nov 25: Bouts were in full swing and judokas while vying for top honours, displayed skill to topple rivals in the ongoing Jammu District Judo Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association at Indoor Sports Complex, M A Stadium, here.
Around 500 Judokas from various schools participated in the Championship.
Today Vikas Gupta, general secretary, J&K Judo Association and joint secretary Judo Federation of India distributed medals among the winners, while the bouts were officiated by Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshinad, Vikas Dogra, Ritika Slathia and Rameshwar Singh Jamwal.

Under-15 40 kg boys: Pranav Jasrotia (1st), Sumit Kumar (2nd) and Abid Lodi (3rd); 50 kg, Mirdul Kerni (1st), Hirtik Sharma (2nd) and Jai Kumar (3rd); 60 kg, Sushank Baru (1st), Paras Kumar (2nd) and Ayush Pandita & Avbhesh (3rd).
Under-17 50 kg boys: Anmol Abrol (1st), Jeevan Singh (2nd) and Aryan Gandotra & Shibam Sharma (3rd); 55 kg, Shubam Singh (1st), Noman Mushtaq (2nd) and Vardhan Sharma and Munish Sharma (3rd) and 73 kg, Shebam Manhas (1st), Samarjeet Singh (2nd) and Sanjay (3rd).
Under-15 57 kg girls: Amrita Roshan (1st), Suhasi Kiran (2nd) and Vishali Choudhary (3rd).
