Physically challenged skater blossoms

JAMMU, Nov 26: Physically challenged skater of Jammu and Kashmir , Chandeep Singh, who has done unthinkable at the National scene, winning galaxy of medals in roller skating and receiving applauds in football and other sports disciplines also, deserves patronage and financial help.
Chandeep Singh, son of Surinder Singh, resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Channi Rama, is a student of Banyan International School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, who had to face amputation of both his arms, due to electric shock some years ago, seeks help from donors.
Apart from winning lots of medals in the discipline of roller skating, Chandeep Singh has the distinction of excelling in many other sports disciplines including football. He has the honour of being sports captain of Banyan International School.
In his appreciation letter, Smriti Zubin Irani, Union HRD Minister has written, “You are special, not only to your family, but to the entire nation”.
His attitude and aptitude, his parent’s bravery and the backing of J&K Roller Skating Association  is worth appreciation.
It is pertinent to mention here that the advance surgery for this child requires over Rs 50 lakh. For that matter, his parents who can not afford that much money, request the general public to donate generously in the Account No: 0077040100034442, J&K Bank, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
