JAMMU, Nov 29: GLS Public School, Amar Colony, Gole Gujral, Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day, here today.
The events started in the morning after Morning Assembly at 9am and culminated at 3 pm.
The staff and the management emphasized on the importance of physical activities and stressed upon the students to participate in the Championship.
During the day, students of all classes participated in Games and Sports competitions like Athletics, Volleyball, Badminton, Kho- Kho, Tug of War, Musical Chair, Sack Race, Lemon Spoon Race, Three-Leg Race and Frog Race etc.
On the occasion, the School management claimed that the School holds indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Scrabble and allied sports events and word games, besides lots of games for kindergarten students.
