JAMMU, Nov 30: Seeking public support in favour of People’s Democratic Party candidates, senior leader of the party Vikramaditya Singh addressed public meetings in remote and backward areas of Ghordhi and Bharmeen in Chenani Assembly constituency today.
People of the area alleged that they have been neglected by successive Governments. They have tried previous Governments but were disappointed because no body has paid any attention towards their problems. Now, they have high expectations from PDP.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Singh expressed his concern over the plight of the people of this area and assured that this discrimination will end soon. Expressing satisfaction over high turnout of voters during first phase of elections, Mr Singh said that this has proved that people in general have decided to vote for change and this situation is not going to benefit BJP or any other party because they will not be able to form Government, he added.
