Malhotra assures redressal of Jammu East people’s demands

JAMMU, Dec 1: Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary, Vikram Malhotra assured the masses of Jammu East that he will strive for redressing their problems, if voted to power. He said that he has already carried out various developmental works in the Jammu East constituency for the benefit of common masses.
Addressing a massive gathering at Parade after filing nomination papers, Malhotra exhorted the people to lend their supportive hands for making Jammu East a model constituency.
He expressed optimism that the developmental needs of the constituency would be fulfilled in a specified time frame with Congress forming a stable Government on its own.
Malhotra said that he was feeling encouraged by the response of the people, especially young and those exercising their democratic rights for the first time, adding that youth hold promise for better tomorrow.
Vikram said that he was working actively in Jammu East constituency for the last so many years and has spent crores of rupees on the development in all the Wards.
He further said that divisive forces at State or national level cannot ensure development of all the three regions of the State. It is only and only Congress party which can carry along the hopes and aspirations of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions of the State.
