JAMMU, Dec 2: An Inter-College Symposium was held in the premises of Ramisht College of Education, Plahi, Basohli, today.
The topic of the Symposium was “Importance of Moral Education”.
10 students drawn from Govt Degree College, Basohli and Ramisht College of Education participated in the event.
Expressing views the students said that moral education has become dire necessity in today’s scenario, as there are certain evils which are rampant in the society which can be eradicated with the help of providing moral education to child in Schools.
Rishav Sharma from Govt. Degree College stood first, Manju Thakur from the same College bagged second position, while Indu Sharma from Ramisht College claimed the third spot.
In the end, the Chairperson of College, Rajinder Sharma gave away the merit certificates and cash prizes to winners and participants.
