JAMMU, Dec 6: Brilliant batting display by Raghav Sharma, coupled with valuable contribution by Munish Singal and superb bowling show by Aryan helped Sidhant Cricket Academy to beat UCC Udhampur by 33 runs in the ongoing T20 Cricket Tournament at Col Chopra Cricket Academy ground, here today.
Earlier, batting first, Sidhant Cricket Academy scored 176 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Raghav Sharma top scored with 76 runs, while Munish Singal contributed unbeaten 45 runs to the total. For UCC, Ankit, Uday and Bansal took 1 wicket each.
In reply, UCC scored 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sidhant scored 44 runs, while Rishav chipped in with 21 runs. For Sidhant Academy, Aryan took 3 wickets and Pratush claimed 2. With this win Sidhant Academy entered the semifinal.
The match was officiated by Akash Manhas and Aditya, under the supervision of Academy’s chief coach, Sukomal Ganguly.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy will take on UCC Udhampur.
