JAMMU, Dec 11: Global Convent Higher Secondary School organized its 12th Annual Day and prize distribution function at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here.
It was a grand event which brought to life colours of childhood with programmes exhibiting atrocities of the British Govt. on the innocent Indians, a latter’s hard struggle till they got freedom.
Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rajesh Kumar IGP, Jammu and Sohail Qazmi were the guests of hour.
Earlier, Mona Pandoh, founder of institution presented the welcome address.
The event opened with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
J Gandotra, Principal of the School read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school during the academic year in scholastic and other activities of the students.
The events concluded with vote thanks presented by Mona Pandoh, which was followed by the National Anthem.
