JAMMU, Dec 13: J&K Amateur Athletic Championship will be held from December 22 to 25, 2014 at BSF Athletic Track, to select the probables for 35th National Games to be held at Kerala from January 31, 2015 and 49th cross country championship to be held at Jhansi (UP) on January, 18, 2015.
The championship will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Athletes desirous of taking part in the championship are directed to report to SS Gill and Sharat Chander Singh, senior Athletic coaches along with entry fee of Rs 50. No athlete will be allowed to take part in more than two events, excluding Relays.
Entries must be submitted on or before December 20, 2014, as no late entries will be entertained.
The participants who will take part in Sub-Junior, Junior categories are directed to bring along with them their date of birth certificates duly attested by the Head of the institution.
Selected Athletes will undergo intensive training and coaching for one month during the coaching camp.
