JAMMU, Dec 14: Two minor girls today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences.
According to a police spokesperson, Kavita (16) , a resident of Valmiki Chowk, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) consumed some poisonous substances at her residence. In unconscious condition, she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
A minor girl namely Neelam Kumari (17), a resident of Dakal in Reasi also consumed some poisonous substances at her residence, following which she was shifted to District Hospital, Reasi. But in view of her deteriorating condition, she was later referred to GMCH.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
