JAMMU, Dec 15: Jammu University research scholar convener, Lokinder Singh of ABVP called on the Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma and apprised him of the long pending demands of the scholars.
The demands, highlighted before the VC, included increase in the scholarship to Ph D students, enhancing the speed of Wi-Fi on the campus and making data based links pertaining to research accessible to scholars.
Lokinder Singh also suggested that CCTV cameras should be installed on certain places of campus to ensure surveillance of authorities for avoiding any mishappening in future.
While informing about his meeting before media persons, Mr Singh hoped a positive response from the Vice-Chancellor vis-à-vis the demands forwarded to him.
Among those who were present in the press conference, included Rizwan, Dalip Dutta, Sanjay Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sunil Kumar and Saloni.
