JAMMU, Dec 19: The students of Delhi Public School, Jammu, won galaxy of medals in the 7th State Speedball Championship organized by J&K Sports Speed Ball Association. Nearly 1000 students drawn from different schools of Jammu and six other districts participated in the championship held at MA Stadium, Jammu. Adhiveer Sharma of Class 8th K won gold while Abid Wani (7th K), Shreyansh Kumar (7th C), Aryan Mehra (6th K), Aryan Gupta (6th F) and Rehan Gupta (3rd F) bagged silver medals. Akriti Sharma (4th D), Antas Prakash (6th B), Rehaan Mukhtyer (7th K), Abaad naik (7th K) and Shubam Puri (8th C) won bronze medals. The winners were felicitated by organizing a special assembly in the school premises. Additional Director and Principal of the school, Dr D Joseph lauded the efforts of the participants and their coach, Amit Kour for their excellent performance.
