PULWAMA, Dec 20: Continuing its efforts to spread harmony between Army and local population, 55 RR Battalion organized a Cricket Tournament under ‘Operation Sadbhavna’.
A total of 12 teams of Lasipora Area participated in the tournament and provided with all the necessary items of cricket kit by the army.
Commanding Officer, 55 RR, Col Vishal Singh, said that the tournament turned out to be a great success as the youths of Lasipora Area participated with great zeal enthusiasm and sportsman spirit.
The final of the tournament was played today between Tahab XI and Patipora XI, which was won by former with two wickets in hand. Both the winner and runner-up teams of the tournament were provided with trophy and cricket kits.
