NEW DELHI, Dec 22: Azure Power today announced signing of an initial agreement with Rajasthan government to develop a 1000 MW solar power project.
The company is already building 100 MW solar power plant to be commissioned by April 2015, in the state.
With this, the total investment of the company in the state is expected to reach over Rs 1,300 crore.
The 100 MW plant is slated to electrify 1,00,000 households and create an estimated 1,500 jobs in the locality. (PTI)
