JAMMU, Dec 22: Air Force School Jammu celebrated its Annual Sports Day with pomp and show in the Air Force Station Polo Ground, here today.
The chief guest on the occasion was Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, while guest of honour was patron and Chairman of AF School, Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu.
The dignitaries and officers were received by Wing Commander Baljit Singh, Officer-in-Charge, Air Force School Jammu and Vikesh Sandhal, Principal Air Force School, Jammu.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal of the School presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of School in sports activities.
Apart from field and track events, spectators were captivated by the cultural items presented by the students.
“Bhartiyam” by students and saga of the patriotic item won the heart of audience. The grand finale presented by students was applauded by one and all.
Chief guest in his address appreciated the enthusiasm, zeal and efforts of the students.
Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal presented a souvenir to the chief guest on the occasion.
