REASI, Dec 27: 76 Bn CRPF along with 126 Bn CRPF organized a free medical camp at Dera Baba Banda Bahadur, village – Seri , District- Reasi for flood effected victims of village Seri and adjoining villages of Reasi District.
The Camp was conducted under the supervision of Vikram Singh Thakur Commandant-76 Bn and was inaugurated by M K Sharma, Commandant-187 Bn in presence of Baba Jitenderpal Singh Gaddinasheen, Dera Baba Banda Bahadur. Dr Supinder Singh, Medical Officer of 76 Bn along with his team visited the area and examined different types of patients and provided free medical treatment and medicines to them.
Large number of patients especially elderly and women along with their children were examined. Total number of 380 patients including 176 men, 152 women and 62 children took benefit of the camp.
An eye specialist was also made available during the medical camp for eye related condition of people of Seri. Deputy Comdt Puran Singh of 126 Bn and Dy Comdt Sarog Sihag of 76 Bn were also present during the medical camp. The camp was appreciated by villagers they were grateful for the assistance, empathy and support that was provided by 76 Battalion CRPF during the camp.
