NEW DELHI, Jan 1: VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 20.66 per cent jump in total sales of its Eicher branded products at 3,387 units in December.
The company, which is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 2,807 units in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales registered a growth of 26.6 per cent to 3,002 units in December as against 2,372 units in the same month in 2013, VECV said in a statement.
However, exports of Eicher trucks and buses fell by 11.5 per cent to 385 units last month as against 435 units in the same month in the previous month, it added. (PTI)
