JAMMU, Jan 2: Two persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in the city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a 25-year old youth received injuries when the bike he was riding on, was hit by a car at Vikram Chowk area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Nehru Market. The injured identified as Ashwani Choudhary (25) son of Jagdish Raj of Raipur Satwari, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
One person namely Deepak Sharma son of Sham Lal, a resident of Bhalwal, also got injured in Amb Gharota area falling under police station Gharota when the bike which he was riding, got slipped. He was also shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
