MENDHAR, Jan 2: The residents of Harni area held protest demonstration against PHE authorities for snapping of water supply in some localities for the last over one month.
The residents of the affected area assembled at Harni in Mendhar and started protest demonstration. They were shouting slogans against the PHE (Mech) authorities at Mendhar for not taking cognizance of the matter. The locals alleged that motors at pumping station went out of order but they were not got repaired. Moreover, many PHE pipes have developed leakage but the concerned local staff failed to get them repaired. They warned the authorities to intensify protest if they failed to restore water supply.
