SRINAGAR, Jan 3: Directorate of School Education Kashmir, Mir Tariq Ali has claimed that he has distributed more than one lakh sets of books free of cost among the flood-hit students of Kashmir.
In a statement, the director said the books have been distributed to the students as part of the Prime Ministers Relief Fund Scheme.
He said that 77 thousand and 244 sets of books were distributed to the students belonging to Government schools and 41 thousand 258 sets of books were provided to the flood-hit students of private schools.
