JAMMU, Jan 10: Wave Cricket Club (WCC) registered 6 wickets win over KC Sports Club (KCSC) and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, being sponsored by KC Hyundai, Jammu.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KCSC scored 117 runs by losing 9 wickets. Karan Bhat was the top scorer with 28 runs, whereas Sahil Lotra contributed 24 runs and Abhishant made 16 runs.
From WCC side, KD Singh and Sikander were the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets each, whereas Parkash, Shiva and Aman took one wicket each.
In reply WCC chased the target by losing 4 wickets. Verjinder played well, smashed some splendid hits and scored 42 runs, whereas Chandeep contributed 21 runs and Ujwal made 18 runs.
For KCSC team side, Arjun Choudhary, Sahil, Vivek and Abhi Shan shared one wicket each.
Verjinder of Wave Cricket Club (WCC) was declared as man of the match.
