Sunanda’s death: Delhi police chief says probe on full swing

NEW DELHI :  Delhi Police chief B S Bassi today said  the probe in the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar is on full  swing and indicated that Congress MP Shashi Tharoor might be  quizzed.

“Whatever will be required will be done by the SIT,” Mr  Bassi told reporters here when asked whether Mr Tharoor will  be questioned.
The Congress leader returned to Delhi yesterday.    Informing the mediapersons about the current developments on the case, Mr Bassi said, “We have started investigation  recently and it is not possible to reach out at a conclusion in such a short time.”
The Police Commissioner said all the angles related to the case will be probed by the SIT.
“In the next two-three days, I will give some updates of  the case to you, but at this point of time I can only say that  we are probing all the aspects and our probe is going on full swing,” the officer added.
Mr Bassi further rubbished the allegations made by Mr Tharoor that his domestic help was harassed by the city police.
